This wasn't really from today, but it sure was cute! A couple of weeks ago we had steak for dinner. It was the day after we got home from Utah, so we still had some of the salt water taffy that Kelly sent home with us. Hailey loves salt water taffy, though she calls it laffy taffy. She also calls Starbursts "sherberts", but anyway...
Close to the end of dinner Hailey announces that she is full and can't finish her steak, then proceeds to ask if she can have a laffy taffy. After pointing out to her that she JUST said she was full, she replies, "I have two departments - a steak department and a laffy taffy department." We thought it was so cute that we let her have ONE piece of salt water taffy.

That sounds like something Lexie would say! They are soo much alike it scares me!
