New Toy

Yes, and this parasail is NOT for the little kids. This baby is for the BIG kids!

We took it to the church to open it up in the wind and make sure the ropes weren't all twisted. Well, the wind died down a lot since early afternoon, but we got some good air anyway.

I can't wait to get this bad boy behind the boat! Bring on the summer!

Recorder Concert

Rion's first recorder concert was so fun! 10-15 songs in less than 15 minutes. Who could ask for anything better? They sounded so good!

Baby Avynlea

Hailey just loves to hold Baby Avynlea. (Shannon and Joseph's baby girl.) She is so good with her! Avynlea even falls right to sleep in Hailey's arms. Such a good mama already!

Happy Birthday to ME!

I have GREAT friends and family! This morning, I was able to get up early and go shopping ALL BY MYSELF!!! I could get used to that, even if it does mean getting up early on a Saturday.

Karyn brought me this delicious cupcake. Yum! And Liz brought a super delicious chocolate cake with white frosting and Caramello's! Oh boy that was GOOOOD! Thanks Girls!


Last night Eric and I went out to dinner with Liz and Wayne. They are so fun to hang out with! Super funny! We went to Tucano's Brazilian Grill. {salivating as we speak!} I highly recommend it to everyone!

Yes...those are Pringles ALL over my floor. This is a result of a 2 year old boy and a toy golf club. *sigh*

More Savings!

I think I'm going to start a coupon shopping blog. Once I make my blog into a book, I don't think I want the daily shopping adventures in it...just the REALLY good ones!

I took Shannon with me this morning. I love taking someone with me because it just amazes them how much you can actually save! This is truly the ONLY way to build up your food storage quickly and inexpensively.


Today's adventure came to $132.43. I had 7 separate transactions (LOVE Alberstons for this!) because Albertson's has their double coupons right now. Out of pocket I spent a total of $37.63. Yay!! That's about a 72% savings...if I did the math right. I still have my Walgreens deals to get, and a couple of things from Target, but Walgreens may need to wait until the end of the week.

Now, I need to find out how Shannon did!

FOUND!

The blankie has been found! Chase was playing in Hailey's room, of course, and was playing with her toy kitchen. He found the blanket in the oven! Go figure! Such relief tonight.

The hardest part about the last couple of days was when Chase would get his lip sticking out and say, "Mommy... my be be...pease!" It was SO sad! I'm so glad we have it back!

Farewell BB!!

I'm probably a bit premature with the title of this post, but it has now been 24 hours and we can't find Chase's most prized possession ANYWHERE! Poor little guy. I'm fairly confident that the only place I went yesterday was to pick up Hailey from the Smith's house, but I still have my doubts. I know, that sounds funny, but I've been to the store so much lately that I can't remember which days I've gone! Chase said a prayer tonight that he would find it, so I'm hopeful that Heavenly Father will answer his prayer. Keep your fingers crossed!
