Fun Saturday

What cute boys! They decided to do their hair like a triceratops so we could go out to eat with the Stevenson's and the Stone's. How funny!



Hailey was really lucky! She got invited to the Wings Center with the Coon's...complete with facepaint!


After all of this fun, we came back to the house to watch The Forbidden Kingdom. It was a pretty good movie, but it's always fun to watch movies with friends!

Missing Photos

Is anyone else getting the X of death instead of the family photos at the top and sides of my blog? They don't seem to want to load for me, with the exception of Rion's photo. Let me know...I may have to do some troubleshooting.

More missing teeth

Here is the before picture of Hailey. She lost her 2nd tooth on January 11th. I'm just late in posting about it! This time the tooth fairy didn't have to wait for her to clean her room before leaving her dollar. She was prepared ahead of time!

How???!

Chase woke up crying this morning, around 5:30, saying, "Owie, owie....Mommy...mommy...daddy.....daddy...." At first I thought it was a dream, but after a few minutes I decided to check on him. To my surprise, he was head first under his covers, all the way to the bottom of the bed! He sleeps in a full size bed, so this was an amazing feat! How in the world did he manage to do this?

After chuckling for a few minutes to myself, he finally starting calming down, but didn't want to be in his own bed at that point. I didn't blame him! It reminded me of the time I went exploring in my bed when I was about 3. I couldn't find the way out either!

Birthday Tutu

We got Hailey a bunch of ballerina things for her birthday. Chase helped me make this tutu for her, but before he could let her really enjoy it, he had to give it a test run. He's covering his eyes because he's pretending to sing "Popcorn Popping". Too cute!

Hailey's Birthday

Today is Hailey's 6th birthday! Wow! It's been a fun 6 years, even if we've had our personality clashes. She is still a sweet, happy girl....who is growing up too fast!

We had a small get together for Hailey with just cake and ice cream. I wanted something very low key. She got to have fun with her friends without all the worries of a 'birthday party'. That's the best way to do it! The best part was that she didn't want to get close enough to blow out the candles. What a goof. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAILEY!

Face Paint

Grammy is here visiting for a few days, so the kids decided to take advantage of her great artistic abilities. She has more patience than I do with trying to paint the kids' faces. At least they had fun!

New Car!

We got a new car! Well, it's hardly a CAR, more like vehicle on steroids. We decided it was time to buy a Suburban! I would much rather have a Toyota Sienna, but considering we still need to tow the boat, this was our best option. And, we wanted the trunk space to be able to travel, so the Tahoe's and Yukon's weren't going to cut it. Our truck was starting to need some expensive repairs, and we are going to be traveling quite a bit this summer...and the little car...well, it's just that - LITTLE. Too little for our travel needs. We found this beauty on Saturday in Meridian. We are so excited to get the boat out and give it a test drive! Maybe tomorrow. :)

Oh, and Eric likes to refer to it as our "CIA" or "Secret Service" vehicle.

First Sunday

We are SOOO excited about having 11:00 church. Time to sleep in a little! The kids got some church clothes for Christmas, and since we had plenty of time this morning, we were able to get them all nice looking for church. They were so excited to see who their new Primary teachers would be!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone! My first resolution for the new year is to update my blog! It may take me a couple days, but I'll get the events of the last few weeks on here.
